So while I applaud the great work, I tend to still really not get why it's usefull. If not, then why would I need to know the exact tension applied to what drag setting if I by no mean will need to use directly to it's max possible safe drag force ? I ask that because basically I can simply apply along my reeling the tension needed to get the fish.

Is that method have a negative impact on my fishing results ? (earlyer on my gameplay I tend to use it to the right max drag possible though) I personally still use a setting at 1/3 of the line resistance, and then apply more drag as soon as I have a bite. While I also do understand the use of 'knowing' what drag setting cause what tension, what is the impact in game to use it directly to max possible setting that will not break the line ?
